Where is the best place to shop in Hurghada?

Hurghada is full of shops where you can buy anything from souvenirs to shoes. Even if you spend your vacation in El Goun or Sahl Hasheesh, you should go shopping in Hurghada. In this article, I will tell you the best places to shop.

Where it is definitely worth going is Sheraton street, Mamsha famous promenade, El Dahar bazaar (Souk) and shopping malls. There are two shopping centers in Hurghada, Senzo mall Hurghada and Hurghada City Center shopping center. In fact, it is possible to shop everywhere even in the surrounding resorts such as Makadi Bay, Safaga or Marsa Alam. But for larger purchases, it is better to go to shopping areas and centers... No matter where you live or how far from the city center your hotel is, there is always at least one souvenir shop nearby. The further from the center, the higher the prices.

Anyway, shopping in Hurghada is a great fun holiday activity, especially if you are good at haggling. Enjoy the experience! For those who don't like haggling, malls and fixed-price stores are the best way to spend your money.

If you want to buy souvenirs or something local in Hurghada, then you should go to Souk in Dahar, Sheraton Street or El Mamsha Promenade instead of the mall.

The best shopping street is definitely the Sheraton. When in Hurghada, it is almost impossible to avoid visiting this bustling place. The area may also be called Sakala, Sakkala and Saqala. The shops on Sheraton Street are for tourists, so prices in individual shops can vary greatly. Most stores don't have fixed prices, so be prepared to haggle. A well-known bazaar with fixed prices located here is Cleopatra. Sheraton street is also the longest shopping street in Hurghada. There are cafes and restaurants along the street. On Sheraton Street, you can find a complete set of everything: fake sneakers, handbags and clothes of well-known brands, oriental dresses for belly dancing, oriental ceramics and decorations.

If you want to try the adventure, visit the small side streets. Sherry Street is definitely the biggest and most beautiful side street in the Sheraton. Do you need to buy cosmetics, shoes or something special? Go straight to Sherry. Here you will find El Fayrouz make-up shop super stocked with Egyptian cosmetics at reasonable prices.

El Mamsha-promenade is a pedestrian boulevard. It is an ideal place for a pleasant evening shopping walk. All along Mamsha are large fixed price souvenir bazaars like Cleopatra and Pharaoh and smaller shops right next to each other. On Mamshi, you can also find the famous Mc Donalds, which is located in the Esplanada building, as well as the Buddha Bar and Hard Rock discotheques.

At the end of the boulevard near the Steigenberger Hotel, cultural activities such as exhibitions and concerts take place every week. There are beautiful fountains around the Grand Hotel. This part of Mamshi is worth visiting if you want nice photos from your vacation.

El Kawher is also a place worth visiting, it is a modern part of the city where many foreigners live and there are many restaurants and shops. It is close to Mamsha. For example, there is the Al Fayrouz makeup store.

Anyone visiting Hurghada should visit Dahar. It is the oldest and local part of the city and you can experience and see the real Egypt there. In Dahar, you'll find a large marketplace filled with everything from household appliances to scarves. And of course the wonderful market with fresh fruits and vegetables and spices.

In case you don't like haggling, you should head to the mall. Shopping centers are air-conditioned, which is a must during the summer. There are two large shopping centers in Hurghada. The first is Senzo mall, which is located a short distance behind the Hurghada airport, near the Sunrise Garden Beach hotel towards Sahl Hasheesh. The second is the newer shopping center Hurghada City shopping center, which is located on the other side of the city in Dahar near the Hilton hotel. You can find everything from food to Cinema in these malls. Both centers also have restaurants and an indoor playground for children.

Senzo Hurghada Mall is a great place for shopping. The shopping center is located about 15 kilometers from the city center. It is open every day from 10:00 AM to 12:00 AM at night. The shopping center is constantly improving and new shops and restaurants are being added. You can get there by taxi, minibus or Senzo has its own shuttle bus. The shuttle service between Senzo Shopping Center and Hurghada runs daily from 10:00 AM. until 12:15 p.m. (00:15). The Senzo bus runs from Dahar-Sakkala-Mamsha to Senzo Mall and back every 30 minutes. You can stop the bus anywhere. The price is approximately 5 Egyptian pounds/person/one way. Uber or Kareem taxis will also take you to the Senzo shopping center.

In case you get hungry, you will find international fast food restaurants and other restaurants with local cuisine. As I already mentioned, the shops in the Senzo department store have fixed prices. No need to haggle. Some shops are expensive, but there are also shops with affordable prices. My favorite stores in Senzo Mall are Mango, De Facto and DejaVu. There is also a large toy store and a KIDZO children's corner, a pharmacy, and a jewelry store. Senzo Mall also has a large grocery store, Spinneys, where spices are worth buying, and a specialty place to take home.

Hurghada City Center is located in Arabia, next to the Hilton Hotel. Here you will find shops with clothes, shoes, jewelry, toys. There is a great cinema and a great indoor children's corner with trampolines.

If you want to buy oils, don't forget to visit the store Nefertiti for Natural oils and Herbs. It is a company that has been involved in the production of oils and cosmetics for many years. They have their shop in el Kawter.

So, which place did you visit? How did you like it?
